Divorce Services By virtue of the financial and accounting training received, LMF Valuation & Consulting is uniquely qualified to provide valuable assistance in determining the amount of alimony and child support a spouse should pay, identify, value, and divide marital (and sometimes separate) property between divorcing spouses, and apply forensic examination procedures that are designed to find assets and or/ income that has not been disclosed by the opposing spouse.
Child Support
The Child Support guidelines are provided in Table 1 according to State Laws of Texas. These guidelines are designed specifically in which the obligor’s monthly net resources are $6,000 or less.

When the obligor’s net resources exceeds $6,000 per month, the Court applies the percentage guidelines to the first $6,000 of the obligor’s net resources. The Court will then order additional amounts of child support as appropriate depending on the income of both parties and the proven needs of the children.
In determining the proper child support amount, LMF Valuation and Consulting will work for you and with your attorney to develop the following:
1. Determine an accurate accounting of the net resources and income of the Obligator. 2. Developing an accurate Family Budget which accounts for expenses borne by the primary custodial parent. 3. Identify and classify special/extraordinary expenses associated with Education, Healthcare, Transportation, and Sports/Hobbies of the Children.
LMF Valuation and Consulting will develop and summarize these items which will be used by the Court and/or during your Divorce Mediation in negotiating the proper amount of child support by your attorney.
